This site is a place for me to put my first attempts at writing. Originally, I did not intend for this site to be for public consumption. I simply wanted something that would get me working, something that would make me say ‘I need to write’. I didn’t write in high school, and I talked myself out of even trying through most of college. This is my attempt to break the cycle.
So what will you find here? Well, first and foremost, you will find fiction in various forms. I have a very wide range of interests, so I cannot promise one form or genre of writing to be constant throughout. In addition, I’ve started posting some ‘discussion’ pieces when the mood strikes me. Unsurprisingly, I read a lot. After I have finished reading a short story or novel I will usually have some philosophical or writing-related idea bouncing around inside of my head, and I’ve decided to put these thoughts into the aforementioned ‘discussion’ posts in the hope that it will help me become a better writer.
I have no update schedule, as I tried in the past to force myself into a schedule and failed miserably. I try to constantly have a project in front of me, and when I cannot bring myself to actually write fiction I will try to create a discussion post, but again, no guarantees.

Known site issues
- IE7 will apparently treat the ODT versions of my stories as ZIP files when attempting to download. I just reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP, so I can only assume that this is the regular behavior for a vanilla install of IE7. Please be aware that you will need to rename your ‘<story>.zip’ file to ‘<story>.odt’ upon downloading.
